Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of https://www.51k.ca and purchases from 51K.ca. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Who we are

51K.ca is an online store for home renovation supplies, outdoor equipment, batteries, small appliances, and related goods, with optional Portable Shop pickup where available. Our warehouse is at 115 Ironside Crescent Unit 11, Scarborough, ON M1X 1M1.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under Ontario and Canadian law. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at checkout.

3. Products and pricing

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and may change before you pay. We recompute order totals on the server from catalog prices, applicable tax, and shipping so that the charged amount matches expected pricing. We may cancel an order if an item is unavailable, mispriced in a way we cannot honor, or if payment cannot be verified.

4. Orders and payment

Submitting payment is an offer to buy the items in your cart. A contract is formed when payment is successfully captured and we confirm the order (including by email). Payments are processed by Stripe. We never ask you to email credit card numbers to us.

5. Shipping and pickup

Delivery options, timelines, and fees are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss for shipped orders passes according to the carrier's terms after we hand the parcel to Canada Post.

6. Returns

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

7. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that appear to be used for fraud or abuse.

8. Website use

You may not scrape, overload, or attempt to interfere with the site, payment APIs, or other customers' data. Content on this site (including product copy and branding) is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reused without permission, except as allowed by law.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The site is provided as available. To the extent permitted by Ontario consumer protection law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive as a consumer in Ontario or elsewhere in Canada.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection venue rules.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
